Does a Comptech SC KIt feel fast?

Hahah I guess it is more of a competition or something. I don't know how I got in there and started. Was a link I clicked or something but a major waste of time.
Someone there was over 100 PPD!!!!

IMHO, it is all dependent on the tune. With a SC, if your tuner is good, then you wont even know when VTEC kicks in. My power is so linear that the car actually feels slower sometimes because there is no VTEC kick in power. But I ran the same tunnel everyday from end to end and would start at 35mph and end at 85-90. Well once i was supercahrged, I started at 35mph and when i got to the end I was doing over 120mph. So yea, you dont realize how fast you are really going sometimes.
^^^ Yep now when you up the boost your going to feel it, hitting the gas peddle at 3-4k rpm is going to feel like stock vtec in first gear N/A so not only does the tune mean something but how much boost your running dictates the most.
The best thing about the SC setup in daily driving is the ability to downshift to the appropriate gear and mash on it. That will set you back in your seat.
As other have said, the torque increase is gradual with the SC setup. You won't see a rapid rate of torque increase in the mid range like with a turbo car [A glorious feeling that does set you back by the way].
From a rolling start, the SC will feel noticeably faster, especially at 7, 9, and 12 psi levels. You will have much fun and likely enjoy it much more.
The only noted downside is the need for a better clutch, upgraded injectors, engine management, tuning costs, wider tires, etc.

Yeah I rather enjoy the trq curve of the Centrifugals myself, it feels progressive in that the further you stay in it the faster you accelerate and the harder you get pushed into the seat, the sensation is closer to accelerating like a jet. You don't quite get the same thrilling affect bellow 8psi, anything at or above though and you get the idea. 10psi is where it starts to take your breath away. If you can hook up, a well tuned 10psi centrifugal will get you into the low/mid 4 sec 0-60 range. As fast as any base C6. I'd love to experience 15/18psi with one. Allot of fun
^^^ Yeah that's pretty much the consensus, that a base 5.5psi CT kit feels like Super vtec, not much boost bellow this so you don't feel much there. But once you throw some proper boost at it, you make power everywhere, and quite nicely I might ad. Its not really fair to compare a base kit to anything FI, its running such low boost levels. But yes compared to stock its pretty exciting..... for about a two weeks haha and then you want more. Stock kit just wets your palate basically. But this and VT are the FI only options you can get into as an entry level without all the cost/bells and whistles of injectors/ management and still be carb legal as well.

when I say it, but to me, there was more of a difference going from 5.5 to say 8.5 than going from stock to the initial S/C setup.
