does this sound like thermostat or headgasket?
already checked the water pump and it was fine, looked and spun fine. i've bled the system and inline pro bled the system they said there was no air in it but the bottom radiator hose was not getting hot the slightest bit. So the bottom main radiator hose is supposed to be hot and it's not getting hot, so inline told me its a bad thermostat. So spec ops I think you might be wrong atleast according to inline I know it is a return line from the engine but it would never be cool not when the water go ing in is like 190degees or more. The thing is I no how to jack it up and bleed the radiator system like a damn champ now im stumped completly.
No, the lower line should be cool relative to the top line since that's the line going to the engine AFTER it passes through the radiator (which obviously cools it). The top rad line is the hot line and is probably 200+ degrees.
It could be a bad tstat but whenever it's a bad tstat, the lower line is cold and the top line is hot. If the bottom is just as hot as the top, you have a problem with your radiator.

Just pull the thermostat and put it into some boiling water. If it opens, its good but if it doesnt open, its probably your problem. Its very rare that these thermostats go bad but its worth tryng to see if yours is in fact bad or not. I went through this whole thing a while back. Except, I just purchased a new thermostat and threw it in without checking the old one and the problem was still there. So, I then took my old thermostat and put it into boiling water and it was fine. Come to find out later when I went ahead and pulled the head to have it built, the Hondata intake gasket was leaking coolant into one of my cylinders due to the plastic wicking and shrinking from heat and also a few loose bolts from this. I went back to the stock intake gasket and no more problems. If you find that your thermostat is bad, I still have mine that I replaced that is good. It only has about 13k miles on it and I'll sell it to you for $25 shipped plus paypal fee if you want to save about $25 over getting it from Honda. I believe I paid around $50 for my new thermostat.
Nevermind, I just checked Majestic and you can get a new thermostat for about $25. I guess the local Honda dealer ripped me when I got mine. If yours ends up being bad, just go through Majestic Honda.
With the engine completely cold (like in the morning before you drive the car)
Take the radiator cap off and start the car. If coolant geysers out of the radiator you are leaking compression into the cooling system and you have a blown head gasket.
If it doesn't spew out upon startup, leave the cap off, turn on the heater and let the idle and warm up to operating temperature. Top off the coolant and put the cap back on. That should belch the system of air.

Did YOU put the head on and tq it in 3 steps or did IP do it? It does sound like a blown HG though. Smell the exhaust while its running and if it smells real sweet like coolant, its the HG. Also, are you running the Hondata intake gasket? I wrote earlier about my problems with mine.
The only thing is though, if you bleed the system good and get the car warm with the heat running on full blast, the engine shouldnt be heating up like that to those temps so fast and even if it is, the lower hose should be getting warm. Unless you have a very badly blown HG betwen 2 cylinders and its really pumping air into the coolant passages.
