Default DW1300 and DW300 on E85

I have a set of DW1300 injectors and a DW300 pump. After my engine build is finished what kind of power can I expect of of that duo on E85. Would it make a big difference if I upgraded to a walbro 450? I know there are a lot of factors but fuel will be my limiter for sure.

You'll need to upgrade your fuel lines as well.

Why

The stock fuel line are good to over 700whp on e85. I make 620whp on straight e85 with just a walbro 450 pump and fic 1650cc injectors with stock fuel lines.

1300cc injectors on stock fuel pressure will probably max out at about 550-600whp. That fuel pump will probably max out at about the same level. I would get the walbro 450 and turn the pressure up to 55-60psi at idel and you should get well over 600whp with the 1300cc injectors on e85.

That's just what I heard from my tuner when we were discussing flexfuel. Seems like that's wrong lol.

06+ cars going for over 450whp need to upgrade to a return style fuel system because they have a returnless fuel system. This involves adding and changing the fuel lines. One of the main reason no one that goes for big power has an 06+s2000.

Ohhh, that's pretty interesting. I didn't know that about the DBW models.

Further reinforcement that 04/05 are the best AP2's from the factory (arguably best S2000 factory).
