Dynoed Vortech SC Aftercooler Owners
Alright guys....I just bought a Vortech SFMU and also bought a Honda adapter fitting tool and Honda fuel pressure gauge. Anyway, tomorrow my mechanic will install the SFMU, dyno it again and hopefully he can fine tune my car and fix the fuel leaning problem. I will let you guys know how it turn out my car's A/F mixture on a dyno and hopefully get more horsepower out of it.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Any comments, results or opinions as yet on the Vortech SFMU? Is it an alternative to the VAFC-2?

Just recalibrate youre fmu.All you need to do is buy the 12.1 recalibration disk for approx $35.00.It very simple to install and it richened my engine one full point on the wideband. Its much cheaper than buying another crappy fmu!!!
Thanks
Kevin
Edit as I got it wrong!

All you need to do is go to a local speed shop and purchase a vortech fmu 12 to 1 racalibration disk and swap it out with the 10 to 1 disk that is currently in you're fmu.All this does is raise you're fuel pressure higher than the stock setting from vortech. The stock setup raises fuel pressure 10psi for every pound of boost the engine gets and by adding the 12 to 1 disk you will effectively raise the pressure to 12 psi for every pound of boost the engine gets thus forcing more fuel through the injectors.Swapping this disk is very simple and can be done in the car without disconnecting the fuel lines from the fmu.
