Default E-manage

Ok I have and opportunity to pick up an E-manage from my friend for $150. Is this thing alone any good for stock engine? Will it add any HP? I've heard that you could adjust V-Tec. I am saving for LoveFab kit, but I thought I could use this E-manage meanwhile.

Eh, I wouldn't waste my money on it. I'm not a fan to begin with, and why bother buying it simply to play with Vtec when you're going Lovefab anyway? Look at it this way, if you don't buy it... You're $150 closer to your turbo.

Its better than a VAFC, which many people are running. For 150 why not, but your going to spend another 200 on harnesses to install it.
