also i'd like to know how you wired it. there seems to be no consensus on whether we should replace the stock o2 sensor with the bosch one, or if we should weld the extra bung.
From what I've read, it seems like you can replace the stocker if you wire up some sort of O2 sensor simulator to fool the ECU.

I think there's a consensus that the 0-1v output from the UEGO controller that was included for this purpose will not work with the S2000 stock ECU (i.e. you'll get a CEL).

It seems like something like this would work, no? If not, maybe a home-made solution like this applied to the primary O2 sensor wires would work:

[QUOTE]Aus, while I haven't run a resistor on the primary 02 heater, but I have done so on the Secondary.

Oh I love that, because that is the 1 button in my car that never gets pushed. Talk about the most useless (and pointlessly large) button in the car!

I have a dumb question. How are you going to tune or know when you're running lean if you hide your gauge? Doesn't that defeat the purpose? If you're running an AEM EMS I suppose you could just log your AFR's and save yourself the dough...actually, some standalone widebands come with logging support.

It wouldnt be for tuning but rather for self assurance knowing things are okay. It's not that I dont ever want to see it but more to keep prying eyes from seeing it. I've already checked the AFR using a wideband on the dyno but you never know when something else could go wrong that could cause an issue, in those scenarios I'd like to have more of heads up then I do now which would be zero. I 100% agree and understand that gauges should be there in the open in plain driving sight BUT compared to not having one at all and parking the car outside every day/night hiding it is best.

Here is my completed stealth setup designed to hide behind the radio door. I have an Autometer Cobalt mechanical boost gauge, Amp temp (for monitoring intake temps), and a wideband a/f.

The idea is to be a sleeper as possible. So no one pulling along side or peeking through the window can tell i am boosted.

I made it by forming ABS plastic to mount to the OEM radio location and fit behind the radio door without modification to the car

Before anyone comments. I do have plans for a radio. I'll be using an AUX cable for an ipod or similar device directly into an 08 kicker amp with audio sensing turn on to run my oem speakers.

Completed

Work in progress

Used power directly from the oem radio harness.
