All my different exhausts I make I put resonators in.

They are cheap, don't hinder flow and prevent that horrible drone.

Even a cheap summit resonator would work just fine.

Helps "clean-up" the sound.

I may call Vibrant first to get an opinion as to how much different it is that the bottle style one that is in there.

WELP, SLIGHT SETBACK.

the blower just grenaded itself. since the port job, it has maybe 200 miles on it, and most of that was cruising. <big sigh> i was coming home tonight and when i got off the offramp of the highway i smell a weird smell. i get home and turn off teh car and hear a nasty clank clank. my oh shit meter rises, and i start to investigate. pop the hood and the blower belt is off the tensioner.


hmmmmmmmmm, that doesnt look gfood. popped the belt off and sure as shit the blower makes cool clanky sounds. hurrrray!

soooo, sent email to stiegmeier as blower was fine until i got the bright idea to mod it. will keep everyone posted when i get info.

looks like the front gear drive died. i am hoping the rotors and case are ok.

taking it off today to send to stiegmeier on tuesday.

 

Do you need Mase's phone number or you have it ?

Sucks that the blower shitted itself, I am sure those guys will take it back and rebuild it for you. Then you can sell the kit with brand new blower and get Mase's kit.
