yes. The only way to use an egt is in each runer. It is absolutely useless to be reading an AVERAGE of all 4 cylinders. One may be running rich and one may be running dangerously lean and you would never know. It would be best to just purchase one and tap all 4 runners and just plug the ones that you aren't testing.

There was a guy that had 4 gauges on his dash, one for each cylinder. Its been a few years.
