BIASED OPINION! :-)

Your tune better not change once you guys come out with a twin-scroll for the S2000.

I would add to your list:

ROAD RACING: where the added advantage of quick spool and HUGE mid-range torque gains are going to be just what the S2000 is looking for when pulling out of the corner just after the apex.

I thought I would never see the day Geoff bag'd on a twin-scroll set-up because whether this community knows it or not, YOU are the man that pushed the twin scroll onto the aftermarket market.

Stop playing around down there in Az land Geoff and make a twin-scroll set-up for the s2k already!

[QUOTE=Full Race Geoff,Oct 22 2009, 07:46 AM] I personally got the twinscroll initiative going in the aftermarket turbo world, and Ive dedicated years of work and hours upon hours of research into twinscroll technology.

I'll go ahead an add my totally random GUESS, they are going to come out with custom VGT housings for Garrett turbo's? That would be cool!
When the aftermarket VGT turbos come out and they get all the kinks working out, it'll be murder. Imagine having small turbo spool and massive top end power! If they get this technology right, V8s will go the way of the dinosaur! Maybe not, haha.

i can understand where Geoff is coming from on this... look at all the companies actually making a TS mani for our platform there are what only like 1-2 AFI and I believe Pfab had one, now I don't know if that is because they have found some way to get savaging to work more efficiently then FR (doubt it) or what. And look at the ones that have SS setups available there is something to be said weather it they don't want to risk it or just don't know how (except for FR). now granted I will be running a AFI setup because FR doesn't offer one and I want more mid range power for what I am going to be doing.

Now what I don't agree with is the fact, like what flexer said, the road race (circuit racing) industry is beginning to make its climb back to the top and I have noticed a lot of S's in some of the local scca classes lacking the mid range power to exit corners like they should with a SS setup, now you take and apply a TS to it and ( I have seen this also) it drastically improves not only throttle on response while exiting a corner and the ability to actually sustain a even power band through the turns.....

But that is just my .02 on the topic and as for the original post you would probably be happier with the Full Race kit because it has almost everything you will need to actually get it to where you want to be.
Well said,

Geoff has something up his sleeve, but in my own oppinion think he is crazy for not offering a twin scroll set-up because it won't benifit this community.

The only way to know what he is thinking is to get him to chime into this thread, but I think he is quietly reading it and not posting because he doesn't want to let his secrets out yet.

We will see if he will expose his bag of tricks to us or not.

Full Race doesn't offer a twin scroll setup because they already tried to build one......and failed. It was a front setup similar to AFI's but Geoff decided to pull the plug I heard. Word has it they have the old prototype jigs dusted off and are trying it again. Good luck with that Geoff, just wonder who is gonna design that........

A VGT turbo isn't even "Revolutionary", Porsche has already done it.

where do you have proof that they did try and failed? full race usually doesn't fail when they design something, not try and design something.
