hek hek hek..... I think the question is.......what is your AF ratio at that time.... running super rich will decreace HP...but with the addition of NO2, it will compensate the richness........ so don't know whre im going with this but its very exciting to know there are crazy people out there that like to try new things...............

A little teaser:

The car was taken to be dyno-tuned with the ignition harness and new fuel injectors on Friday. I don't know how much tuning was done before the car had a major oil leak problem. The oil filter relocation kit lines had rubbed a hole in themselves by vibrating against the car. This is being fixed this weekend and the car will go back to the dyno next week to be finished.

When my tuner had to stop, because of the oil leak, the car was making about 300 whp peak on 9 PSI. I can assure you that the car is running rich and that the timing is retarded to a conservative level at this point. I don't know what his final expectations are exactly, but it's appearant to me that he didn't finish the tuning as the car will be going back next week. My goal was to get over the 300 hump, anything above that would be nice. Just an update for those following the progress.

Yes. Unlike most of the turbo companies, we're tuning the car at low 12:1 a/f levels, nothing even close to 13:1. 12.2-12.5 is the range we're looking at. My tuner is much more comfortable with making 300 whp on 9 psi with lots of fuel and some retarded timing compared to making 300 with a leaner setup and regular timing. We're aware that we could make more power if we leaned the car out, but we're trying to get the most power in the safest ways.
