Cool,
I just tuned a turboed s2k with emanage this past week and noticed that his partial boosted runs were running way lean. So I fattned up the maps and he was still running way lean at partial throttle?
I just spoke to him today and he said he is still having the problem. He just told me that he has a signal clamp from split sec on the rear o2. Perhaps this is giving him the issue at partial.
when it's way too rich under lighter loads.
Do you mean partial throttle?

Terry, what was the calculated load on the part throttle runs? And how lean are we talking about? 16:1, 17:1?

The secondary (rear) O2 sensor is an emissions check tool, so it shouldn't be playing a role in this problem, but you never know when someone wires something up what they might have done.

I have never used missing link with emanage on a car before so I'm not too sure how that is working out. I simply toss in the emanage, tuned it, ran it and no check light ever came on. Part throttle does go lean abit, but fixed it with partial throttle tunning. When it goes lean, W/B showed 16:1 so it's pretty bad and bucks.

Sorry what do you mean by calculated load?
The af would intially dip to rich at 11.5 then steadly shoot to 16:1.
I am unsure since I did not wire the computer up, yeah the second 02 is an emmisions check tool. But thats the only thing I can think of. Where do the vortech guys clamp there signal at? 1st or second 02?
This may be causing some sort of ineterference??
He is running 440 cc injectors and the emanage with an inline.
Just for kicks I set the maps really rich and it still did it. It would only go to rich if it was pressed to WOT

Terry, what are you thinking is clamped with the O2's? The MAP voltage is clamped, but that has nothing to do with the O2's. Am I confused as to what you are asking?

I think he's talking about the O2 simulator that tricks the ecu to still see resistance of secondary O2. That has nothing to do with the emanage however.
Any check light showed up? I did had too rich/too lean light before the fine tuning.
Oh, a bad O2 can sometimes cause this problem since WOT is running programmed maps but partial throttle is taking the readings off the primary O2.

Is it necessary to clamp the MAP voltage when using the Emanage?

It's necessary to clamp the voltage when using the stock ECU. The eManage can do this.
