Default Emanage related:Close Loop?

First of all, I might have some language problem when it comes to technical, so, never mind my poor English.

I read somewhere says that Emanage only works when you are at open loop, which means it actually work when you try to accelarate, so, the mapping is actually designed when you are in that movement. However, when you cruise on the highway or drive slowly, it turns to close loop, which ECU will do the fuel adjustment to make it the A/F ratio that stock car origianlly was.

Now, i have Comptech SC, with 8lb boost pulley with aftercooler, tunded by Emanage, I put +8% for 9000 rpm, however, it shows as rich(11.5~12) in haltech A/F gauge. after thousands kilometer, I checked my spark plugs then it shows the white color, which normally mean that you are running too lean. However, I have never experiencing over-heat prolem (reads 88-92degree C most of time, 98 degree C the most on the track, sensor is located at the upper side radiator hose)

Now, I wanna know what I should do with it? find a way to cheat ECU to let it sees 14.7 A/F ratio (if 14.7 is the AF ratio set by Honda) all the time, or is there any other way to solve the problem?

for what I have concerned, my case is actually related to FI, however, the result will benefit both who wants to use Emanage to tune the S2000.

My advice is to get a good second alarm, and pull the back up fuse. After you pulled the back up fuse, you can retune. The open/closed loop will no longer be a problem as the ecu will "forget" everything it has "learned" each time you start up.

Depending on your emmision standards, you may need to plug in the back up fuse 1 month before bringing the car to be inspected.
