Default Emange tuning round 2

All right so we figured out that the throttle positioning on the emanage got reset somehow so that was the reason it was running bad with the new map and not redlining. Now we got redline and full boost in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, but after a few seconds in 4th the CEL comes on. P1259, vtec problem. Wires are soldered and oil is fine. Its throwing it everytime I go into 4th only.

Only thing that looks funny is that on the emanage screen, the area that used to say vtec in and vtec out now say aux in and out.

Any idea's?

Sounds like a setting got changed, Are you messing with the VTEC swithover RPM?

I'll have to review my e-manage software, the aux/in out doesn't sound correct.

We got the vtec in and vtec out to come back after completely starting over again with a new map and plugging all the settings back in. The car drove fine, redlined up to 4th and vtec was ok to. A/F was high 11's full throttle. Drove 2 hours home with no problem, but this morning driving normal I threw another CEL. Didnt pull the code yet, but Im hoping its not the same thing.

Sorry to revive an old thread but I am getting the P1259 also. I am using a PnP harness and the Ultimate Emanage (No maps set). I have it set to recognize the engine as F20c and that is about it. I get the CEL as soon as I turn the key over (before ignition). If I reset the code it trips again in less than a second. Is this because I don't have any maps made yet?

I had trouble with this too. If all the wiring is correct try downloading version 1.39 from www.mohdparts.com It got rid of the CEL for me. The newer versions were giving me problems.
