I'm still on the fence on which kit to choose, FullRace, Fullblown, or KP kit, but this time I will be having my engine and head built shortly by Urge Designs since they are some what local to me (1hr away). Now my question to you guy's what compression should I run? I'm aiming for 500whp at least on 93 octane. I want to run stock compression but will I benefit if I go 9:1? What compression would you guy's recommend. I miss my old full race setup Ramhorn Mani with GT3076r but I want more power 421whp wasn't enough.

if u are only gonna be on pump gas I would do 9:1

URGE built my bottom end, you will not be disappointed!

Even though I was switching to E85, I had URGE do 10:1cr on my bottom end (just incase I had to revert back to a pump gas tune at some point). If you have E85 available that would be the way to go IMO

I am running the Full-Race ramhorn kit with a GTX3576R 1.06A/R

550/415 @ 14psi!


Just had URGE build a head for me (not installed yet)....hoping to have the power come on a bit sooner and get my torque a little more linear so I'm not just breaking tires loose

If you want the highest hp possible on straight 91/93 octane pump fuel you was low 9 to 1 compression. If you only plan to run race gas/e85 you want a high compression motor like over 11.0:1

Endyn does all of Urge's work down here in Fort Worth, I had my short block built there and getting my head refreshed there as well. For my pump gas turbo build I had 9.5:1 cr Mahle pistons put into cylinders that were bored out .25mm
