I have the HKS, want to switch to comptech. Its kind of loud and with the test pipe it gets higher pitched.

 

Anyone have any information or know anything about the T1R Sparrow? Is it real loud and will I have any flow problems with 11lb pulley on Comptech set up? Oh yeah, what can I expect to pay new and or used and where to buy (with out getting bent over)? Thanks Matt

 

Mine sounded better with the test pipe. The 3.5K res. went away. It did get louder overall, but not bad. I still think it is one of the best sounding for the S I was running it with a 9lbs pulley.


It doesn't really give you any power though.

 

i got my T1R for 800 from a-jracing. I love it and my car is supercharged as well. it resonates between 3-4k but everyone that says from the outside it sounds so hott.
when i got my car dynod you could hear it.. plus this thing at 15 whp from my baseline

the HKS is hands down the best sounding.

 

I have the HKS and I think the Invidia is hands down the best sounding but both are way too loud in my opinion.

 

I bought it and don't regret it.
Sounds rather quiet at idle but at higher revolutions its defentely loud and deep.
The mufflers are pretty much straight through configuration.

 

this is not BS lets say you take your muffler off its louder and i bet it gives you more power. so the more bends and resenators/mufflers you have the low the power. and dont put a silencer on they look like crap and sound bad.
