Extrude hone is a process where an abrasive slurry is pushed through flow passages. So basically sand paper getting pushed through and it wears away any rough surface roughness creating a mirror finish where there's the most resistance to flow. On turbine housings, it reduces the surface roughness of the flow passages, reducing the flow losses due to friction. Depending on how long the process is used, it can remove a little material and not affect A/R or it can remove a lot of material. Works great on cast exhaust manifolds too. And cast intake manifolds. And intake and exhaust ports in heads. It's for those seeking every bit of performance gain.

What diameter pipe goes from the IC to the throttle body? I'm guessing 2.5"? Any plans for a vented hood?

Yup Texas near an 85mph speedlimit toll road lol. Not venting the hood keeping it 'sleeper'. It's actually 2.25" innerer diameter, horrible design. Compressor to intercooler is 2.5". Will be upgrading to a 2.5" or 3" intercooler to throttle body but routing it through the fender well. This will keep the pipe out of the hot engine bay and radiator fan heating it up.

This is by far the best intercooler setup ive seen for s2k thats what ill try and do eventually

Connected stock exhaust. Absolutely no drone or exhaust sound.

Hmm..... what was your previous exhaust setup? How much power do you think you're sacrificing?

Is stock exhaust even good to run with turbo and a decent amount of boost? I’d imagine that your EGTs will be high. It’s probably not good for your exhaust valves in the long run.

I have the T1R 70EM Duals on my car. The car pretty much stopped making good power @ 450ish whp on 10-11psi, and these certainly flow better than an OEM exhaust. We turned the car up to 14-15psi and barely picked up 30whp with the additional 4-5psi.

OEM exhausts are fine for the S/C guys, not so much for the turbo crowd.

OP, have you considered a cut-out of any kind?

I had an open downpipe the kit came with before. But now i connected the 3" downpipe to oem 2.25" exhaust for the time being.

Plan is to run a 3" straight pipe straight o an electric cut out and oem mufflers for oem quietness/look and max power/loudness at the flick of a switch.

I've always run this set up of keeping oem mufflers, add turbo, and exhaust cut out on 4cyl engines and its cheaper, eliminates drone(nearly impossible to really do on a 4cyl) and keeps the car fun and functional. The only sound i like for daily driving is intake and turbo sounds. The only time i enjoy 4cyl exhaust sound is under heavy load/high rpm. Electric exhaust cut outs offer the perfect balance , i highly reccomend them especially the DMH brand cut outs as cheaper ones will leak and are a pain to deal with.
