Hey Guys, Glad to see, people are interested, well Today we send off the Crank to another machine shop for balancing, Usually a 4Cyl like the F20 does not require traditional Balancing, like a V6 or V8 Engine but it will get Balanced Dynamically. But right before we send it off, we had to space out the Timing gear perfectly, so the bottom gear is true to the upper gears and also for the correct position of the Harmonic Balancer. Once I receive the Crank Back...It's Assembly Time!

Scott deserves all the credit for making this awesome copper Spacer from round stock copper.

Hey, small update, I just picked up the Crankshaft today from balancing and it was off by 5.8 Grams in the Front and 12.9g in the rear. It was also micropolished to a mirror finish. so it should not be long before Final assembly. I Also picked up a 93 EG Hatch with a GSR engine last night for a daily driver, I'm lovin the hondas.

Also, I Finally received my Rims today after being on back order for two weeks, so I had them Mounted and Balanced today. On Sunday, I will install the TEIN coil-overs and install the Rims, The Last two pictures is where I got my Inspiration but really when I grew up in Germany, we used to stretch the tires on the rims and that was in the mid 90's now I see that trend 15-20 year later and it still looks good, I'm just not a fan of the ridicules NEG. Cambers

Why coper spacer?

I believe this is to align the top and bottom timing chain gears.
