Fastest reliable (for the most part) s2k?
Any FI set up being turbo, roots, centrifugal SC etc pushing some 10psi/350whp will walk your Dads vet. The question is what are you willing to deal with fussiness and maintenance wise with being a daily driver. And are you a do it yourself-er? Comptech/Vortech/SOS have no shortage of strait line acceleration potential and are the least expensive and trouble free on a daily basis if you put allot of miles on your car like I do. I Run A 10psi water/meth injected Comptech kit on the street, I commute 100 miles a day with this car and never needs anything a stock car doesn't other then a replacement SC belt once or twice a year and a water/meth top off once in a wile. I have pulled on every stock c6's I have come up against, which is all of 2 now

youre fighting a very, verrrrry, very uphill battle.
sure, you may pull a fast one on him when you get your little turbo kit installed.. but all daddy has to do is put on an intake/exhaust and a 200shot of nitrous.. and some tires... and its OVER. you wont EVER see him again.
a buddy of mine had an 08 c6 with intake/headers/exhaust/nitrous/DR's/ tune and made 6xx whp and almost 700tq
EDIT: just realized his dad has a C5.... you should be good untill he gets the itch.
