Default FIC 2150cc injectors are modified Bosch's

I just found out that Jens from FIC has the modified Bosch 2200cc injectors but is selling them cheaper than anyone else. If you look at their site under Honda injectors, they are listed as 2150cc injectors and he has them for $780 a set. Seems to be a very good deal over getting them anywhere else.

Hope this helps anyone out that are looking for these injectors.

Are they really the ID2000cc, or are they an FIC modified injector?

According to my buddy that just ordered some from FIC, Jens told him that they are much like the ID2000's. FIC purchased a crap load of Bosch 2200's supposedly and got a great deal and is now passing them on to us at a good deal.

They do look like the real Bosch 2000cc injectors. I noticed in the description it says perfect for E85 followed up by do not use with "Q" or other oxygenated fuels... E85 is by definition an oxygenated fuel so I'm wondering what it is about "Q" or similar fuels and these injectors that cause a problem.

I've wondered that as well. Something about an additive they put in MTBE or something like that.

And I was under the assumption that Bosch didn't make a 2000cc injector, they have all be modified to flow that???

Well I also spoke with a good friend of mine from MA Perfomance that the fic 2150s are not able to run Q16 but is perfect for E85. I will probably stick with the fic 1650s so I wont be restricted by that in the event I do want to run Q16

[QUOTE=boostedf22c,Jan 18 2010, 01:06 AM] I've wondered that as well.

They're the same injectors. The only difference is that the ID injectors are flow matched and sold as a set which require more labor and the FICs are not. FIC however says these injectors vary so little that they work just as well without all the extra work.
