Here is a flow chart on a buddies FIC 2150cc injectors.

Looks like they are all within .5% (thats 1/2 a percent) to me.

Personally, I dont think any of us would be able to tell any difference in the way our cars would run whether we have the FIC 2150's or the ID2000's, except for a more empty pocket. I think I'll save the $120.

[QUOTE=ILoveMYHonda1984,Jan 20 2010, 11:33 PM] I will be running the ID2000 for my e85 setup.

Does that flow sheet have flow at 2msec?

Is there proof that that data is correct? If you read #3 of this link you will see that there are many flaws in the details of how that type of flow bench works and that FIC is not able to measure within 5% at 2msec, so how can you be so sure that the static numbers are correct within .5%?

To be honest, out of batches of 200+ injectors at a time, we don't get within .5% static flow across a set. We claim a legitimate +/- 1%.

The question is, 'how accurate is your ruler'?

just so everyone knows which ever side of the argument you fall on Bosch makes a (very very very expensive) 1500cc injector without modification (200+ a piece)

I'm not saying that ID2000's arent good injectors at all. I truly believe they are a very good injector. But worth the extra $120 or so? I truly dont believe they are that much better than the FIC 2150's if at all. I'll save the $120 and use it on other needed items. Jens and FIC have been in business for a long time and he knows his stuff, otherwise he wouldnt have been around this long. I dont think he would bring an injector out if it wasnt a top quality piece. He is well known all around the car scene with having very good injectors and components.

Then change your thread title. And just say "Check out these FIC 2150cc injectors" hahaha

Your thread title states that these are the same injectors as the ID2000's. Which they are not. They might start life as the same part number, but the end product isn't the same.

This discussion has me torn between the 2 injectors. However I know there are several on the boards that would kick me in the sack for not going with IDs. Hmm.
