1). do you bolt the manifold on then put the heat shield over the manifold?

2). what holds the heat shield in place?

3). any special tool/socket combo needed to bolt the manifold to the head?
4). i really would like to get this turbo manifold heat shield set-up

Sorry I just saw this!

1. Yes, the shield goes on last.

2. It's held together with a few metal buttons riveted in for safety wire. But it sits pretty snug even without the wire.

3. Nothing special. 12mm sockets, 12mm wrench (the ratcheting one helps a lot) and a few extensions. What is absolutely necessary are Nordlock brand lock washers. Nothing else will work with the heat and vibration. Especially where the turbo meets the manifold. I used them on both sides of the manifold. Another tip: If you're installing with the motor in the car, I highly suggest assembling the manifold and turbo together BEFORE you put it in (I even did it with the WG and DP too). You'll need to loosen the exhaust side motor mount and tilt the motor to create enough room. The first time is the longest. It won't be your last...

4. www.ATPwrap.com and $400 for just manifold.

Let me know if you have any other questions, Good luck!

Your 3" into 2.5" dual exhaust setup and is exactly what I plan on doing, mind me asking what part number those Magnaflow mufflers are?
