nice setup put is true that we need to sleeve our engine for low compression piston
unless you can find a manufacturer that makes a drop in "slipper" piston for use with the FRM sleeves, then yeah, you need to sleeve the block for aftermarket pistons.

If I understand your question correctly:

Yes, it's a better to sleeve your block IF you're using aftermarket pistons to lower compression.

Do you need to for turbo? No. there are other options that are just as successful, like a 3mm head gasket or even stock compression if your tuner is comfortable with it.

I hope that answers your question(s)

thanks for the info and it what i need to know

Hey Paul,
Nice numbers...Very nice engine setup.

Where is your shift beeper set and do you use the 300 rpm separation in the beeps?

Thanks!

I forgot I left that out:

ACT Heavy Duty Pressure Plate
ACT Street Disk (load capacity 383lbs- uh oh)
Competition Flywheel 11.5lbs

OEM Diff/Gears
How is the ACT street disc? Does it rattle or make any noise? Thanks.

Tim

I can comment on that since I have an ACT HD with their disk. It buzzes just like the stock disk. No worse from what i can tell. Grabs very well and is easy to drive.

Your heat shielding is SICK! Its reminds me of an OEM heat shielding setup.

The last, fourth beep is set @ 8900 rpm. I installed it with that setting when the car was mine and obviously NA. The seperation is whatever it was set at from Modifry before he ships the units.

Having driven the car recently I think it should be adjusted to beep out at 8-8.5k max. I didn't even go above 7.5k as I thought it wasn't necessary....truth is I was too scared to push it beyond that point...speed/rpms

The car is wickedly fast! Car lights were disappearing in the rear view mirror rapidly.

Congrats Paul

I used to have the clutch buzz that was loud on my OEM. the ACT is less pronounced but it's always there on the decel and it's not as loud. Very good for a daily driver with more aggressive bite.
