the 38 should be fine around 400whp level. Once you start upping the boost you might begin running into boost creep issues.
Alright good to know I’ll just buy an adapter for now and see if it works properly

Okay guys I’m back again with another dumb mistake on my part. I went ahead and bought a tial mv-r wastegate. Went to mount everything up and realized the 5 bolt exhaust housing won’t work because the wastegate is in the way. I assume I need a 4 bolt or vband. I’m really over this whole damn thing. Not sure if I want to press on to finish the build or just go back to n/a. In your guys opinion what would be the least inexpensive way to solve my issue? Just change exhaust housing to 4 bolt? Find another used turbo?

Looks like the cheapest solution to press on is a used exhaust housing. If anyone has any leads to as to where I may find one other then ebay. Please inform me.

it is. The manifold doesnt support a 5 bolt down pipe. Only 4 bolt or v band which I didn’t know at the time of purchase. The Mv-r wastegate is massive and blocks two of the bolts on the 5 bolt. With a vband or 4 bolt this would not be an issue.

Would a new t3 turbo solve your issue? Maybe its a perfect reason to upgrade your turbo at this time The mvr is a great wg, glad you got that one!

I’m over spending money on this build. I’m trying to go cheapest solution to fix it. I won’t cut corners cheap but I think maybe just getting the correct exhaust housing? I’m just unsure

Check atpturbo, they usually have a huge selection and descent pricing.

So I got in contact with manufacture of my turbo. I am able to get a t3 .63 a/r 4 bolt housing. Does anyone know if this will work before I order it? The exhaust turbine blade is 62mm. Would going with a smaller a/r help fitment or anything? If you have had this kit before any input would be much appreciated.
