Not at the moment. The dyno's roller sensor was not working after our 2nd guy jumped on it so they canceled the dyno day. I was told they just got it up and running and will schedule an apointment whenever they have an opening. I'm pretty bummed out too...

I lost 3 pounds of boost with the installation of the Precision 600 intercooler. However I only lost 12whp. I have a new pulley on order to regain the 3 pounds of boost I lost. So as soon as I get my new pulley installed I will have true numbers to compare the same amount of boost with and without an intercooler to show the true gains.

Lowering boost pressure is GOOD if you maintain your power level. You "lost" 3 pounds of boost but you only lost 12 hp. That tells me that the system is working MUCH more efficiently than the stock system, or no system, or whatever you had before you installed the intercooler. The new, smaller pulley is there to increase the blower rotational speed and therefore the blower flow rate...it is NOT there to increase your boost pressure. Boost pressure is simply a byproduct of the air going through your induction system.

Its a common fallacy that lower boost pressures aren't as good as higher boost pressures. In the long run, it really has nothing to do with the manifold pressure at all, but simply the flowrate travelling through the engine.

Take my setup for instance. I'm currently at 18 pounds of boost and 405 rwhp. I could replace my InlinePRO manifold with a Lovefab Sidewinder manifold and "lose" 4 pounds of boost but "gain" 50 rwhp.

Yeah I agree 100% with everything you said. At first I was bummed that I lost 3psi but when I found out I only lost 12whp I was very happy! And now I can change to a smaller pulley to increase the amount of boost I generate to regain the 3psi I lost from the FMIC and gain more power

I dont quite get it.....you only losted 12whp from what? Your previous setup? What did you put down before the FMIC and after? With how much boost?

probably its because of more cooler air that is going into the engine? im not really 100% sure but i read some post regarding colder air intake. maybe the cooler air intake compensate the loose of PSI, thats why its only 12whp loose. but if this would be same warm air temp and loose of same amount of PSI, then probably more whp lost.

My setup was: CTSC non aftercooled and I made 310whp at 9.3psi

And then by changing nothing on my car except adding the FMIC I made 298whp at 6.4psi

I just ordered a new smaller pulley to bring my boost back up to around 9-10psi (hopefully) so with the addition of the FMIC I should be above my original number of 310whp at close to the same boost level of 9-10psi at the IM.
