Default Found why cylinder one had low compression

I was making 500 whp for a couple of years and the car started smoking. Over time it got worse and it began to lose power. I current have an engine that is getting fully built, and I already pulled my engine. The gouge is pretty deep, thought it was weird how I even got one since I always check my oil. The only other reason I can think of is I bought a unhealthy engine on ebay. Since this engine did smoke from day one, but lightly. During that time, I thought it was mu turbo which was not the case. Btw, looking to push close to 800 whp in a month. I need to wait for machining work to finish before I can reinstall it!

Pull that piston out and see if it is a ring or land gone bad.

That's quite a bit of blow by. Would of raised a red flag pretty quickly. Glad to hear you have another getting built.
