Default Engine Additives

Wanted to get some good board advice on engine additives. My valves/lifters just sound loouder than when forst got the car and it is pissing me off the oil is ok, and when the spark plug tsb was done, they checked the valves, so no problem...but that clicking is driving me nuts! Anyways, there are some engine additives that advertise a "quiter" ride.....what do y'all think? anybody ever used one of these products?

Not an endorsement or anything, I have always (Ok for 5-7 years) run something called Militek in my engines (mostly turbos). Have never blown a turbo yet and the oil does stay cleaner and less shreds of metal.

It is NOT a PTFE additive, it is actually a metal surface hardener. Big difference.

Just my $0.02

Don't add anything to the oil in your car. Adjust the valves and use Mobil-1 oil after it is broken in.
