Default Four Inch Intake for Vortech Supercharger
Several of us are running a 4 inch 6061 aluminum elbow with a filter attached for the intake. The Vortech system has some constrictions in it.





The new system looked like this:





The influence of the exhaust needed to be ameliorated so I added a heat shield:





There is a piece that is not visable under the filter deflecting the radiator air flow away from the filter.

I'll be checking the IAT on the dyno tomorrow, 1.5 bar with the hood closed.

Are you willing to share where to buy for others to do? I have wanted to do something like this on my Vortech. Looks great and alot nicer than the black plastic junk that came with it!!
