Fuel injector choice
This is a lie for anyone reading this just wanted to correct it. ID does work with bosch, but up until now has never passed the bosch motorsports endurance testing to be listed in the bosch motorsports catalog. To say "noone also has access to these" is not only a lie, but they can't even pass there in house testing. To my knowledge the only company to have done that is ASNU. They even got into an argument about it on the GTR forum and ASNU asked tony to post up their completion sheets and Tony stopped responding. :-)
That said I would consider both ASNU and ID to be at the top of the market, with ASNU being slightly better due to a better spray plate and being able to pass the bosch motorsports endurance test.
Now watch as the fan boi's start going crazy yet will post zero data :-)

It would seem quite odd for Bosch Motorsport to make a post like this calling us partners if that wasn't the case, right?

To further my point, do you really think a company as large as Bosch, or their "smaller" branch Bosch Motorsport, would really allow us to legally have their logos all over our boxes and advertisements if what I was saying were untrue? Think about it.
Injector Dynamics X Series - True Motorsport Injectors - Injector Dynamics
In regards to your point about them not being in the catalog; that is because they are built and sold EXCLUSIVELY to us. They don't sell our products to the general public or any other entity. The ASNU piece you are talking about has Bosch part number and can be purchased by anyone.
If you feel any of this is untrue I bet you could reach out to Bosch Motorsport yourself and see if I am full of shit.

Hell no. I've seen too many failures on my vehicles, customer cars I tune, friends cars, and forums I frequent. There is a reason they are dubb'd DeathWerks. My last customer car with them that had a failure was rally car sponsored by DW. An injector stuck open dumping fuel and I couldn't figure out why I could get the car to run right. We then noticed fuel coming out of the UPPIPE gasket. They changed for ID1000's and the comment from them was "instant tune".
Apologize. All the data has been posted by ANSU. It really is a quality read with some great drama if you have time in your life to blow.

Its old drama. But it does go over the history of all of ID's failures by selling the ID1600 injector with the rubber pintle and it flaring up with the use of oxygenated fuels. ( some here might not remember all that drama from back in the day). The same mistake was made again by ID when they shipped the first ID1700 injectors with a non stainless steel plate and it was rusting and locking up injectors. ID recalled all the 1700's, switched to the stainless steel plates and now call them the ID1300X and 1700X. Thread above also talks about the cutting and terrible spray pattern of the ID2000 natural gas injector. (I'm not quite sure of the facts of this. ID isn't really honest many times about what goes on)
As I said, I personally run ID1000 injectors on my car and love em. No problems. I do enjoy reading many many forums and you have to have a keen eye to dig to the bottom of the ID drama. The company will quickly attack anyone who says anything bad about them and they never admit their faults. I would like it if ID would just say "we made a ton of mistakes along the way but are getting better all the time". Instead they always say: "everyone else's injectors suck and we are the best and we make no wrong".
It's why I thought it hilarious when ASNUPHIL asked ID to post their bosch motorsports endurance testing data, and it was just crickets.
No drama yamahaSHO. All the great drama posts are out there. I just saw a post on "what is the best injector" and currently right now the best injector is probably the ASNU one with ID up at the top as well.

For those who really want an answer on these injectors, well here it is, in our experience at ASNU its only a matter of time before they all fail, they are dangerous.
It seems everyone is scarred to say anything about this issue and the cost involved in people having to change their injectors , plus they will need a remap because the new injectors wont flow the same as the originals, they wont be able to use the same system, its a bad design.
The multi hole pintle ID are using we tried in 2012, as many of you will know, we went through THREE versions of a performance injector before it finally passed the Bosch endurance test. The 4 hole version we had failed even before it got inside an injector and was discarded as a non starter, so the comment from ASNU is that it will only be a matter of time before they all fail, we don't work on percentages, when we test injectors it either passes or fails, in this case it fails.
I am not going to go on about all Tony's claims on here when we came out with our 1650cc injector and how he had tested it and it was rubbish, but ask anyone using our injector how many failures have they had, the answer is NONE. We provide injectors that have met and passed the Bosch endurance test and these injectors are street legal, the ID 1700 and 1300 injectors are not legally allowed to be sold for road use, I know that ID put up a claim about the use, but that in Paul Yaw's words is BS.
So now they have a redesign that is good for 65,000 miles, really?, so after 65,000 you have to change them, are they going to fail, if you drive it hard will that make a difference? come on, do me a favour, that is another case of BS.
If its a redesign, what will it flow, the 6 hole version was what gave additional fuel, that cannot be used again, so they try a 4 hole, that will reduce the flow agin, but even that is not safe, so what changes are made to have a 1700cc flow rate that will last for 65,000 miles, anyone know? I doubt if it can be 1700cc and pass the endurance test.
Hate to say it but we have had better results with our 1500cc with the multihole spray pattern working better on GTR than the 1650 without the spray plate.
Now I know that again, this has been classified as BS by Mr Yaw, but the truth is that unless you are a drag car, you need atomised fuel to get the best out of the fuel you are using, ask any tuner and he will tell you that is a fact, although ID do not agree. ID have always claimed you need a straight pencil jet for the best performance, that is why they NEVER have spray plates on their injectors and NEVER will.
I dare say this will kick off about what a decent company ID are owning up to this failure and offering to swap them out free of charge, are they also paying for the cost to remove and install the new ones?
The truth is that they don't have a choice, if motors start blowing up there will be some real shit flying around, its not them being nice, they have to replace them, besides which, i think you would find that any injector manufacturers would like their name to be associated with injectors blowing up engines or even causing a car accident, so you see its not ID being fair, its them covering their exposed arse.
The failure rate on the 1700's was crazy....but all swept under the rug.

Hey guys a little clarification here. If you have a set either installed or not installed yet there isn't any real reason to down the car in fear of catastrophic failure. Like the original article says, the failure rate is less than 1%, and if an injector fails it 100% fails. There will not be a lean condition; that cylinder will just be a no fire.
If you have a failure we will replace the entire set without any issue under warranty once we have the units to do so. With the failure rate as low as it is we can't justify replacing every set out there.

You are 100% lying about the failures on the ID1600 and the ID1700's. The ID1600's were recalled due to a fuel temperature sensitivity issue. Every customer was taken care of. The first run of ID1700's had an internal part that would crack and fail. I have seen the parts first hand; it happened on my S2000. They are not even remotely related to the issues with the ID1600's. Every single customer who wanted a replacement set of ID1700x's got them. I think out of all the warranty exchanges we did I heard of one engine that was hurt. One. Tony handled that situation, and I believe the customer was fully taken care of. The ID1700's never had a rusting issue, that is a blatant lie, but not unexpected from you at this point.
I wrote that I was not sure of the exact reason. Just what I had read on a bunch of forums. Let me find the quote so others understand. To quote you "you are a piece of work".
(I'm not quite sure of the facts of this. ID isn't really honest many times about what goes on)

You seem pretty keen on trying to spread misinformation based on random posts on the internet. If you can't find proof of these claims, why spread the information? If you REALLY wanted the information, we are quite easy to get a hold of and extremely transparent with these things. I would have been more than happy to tell you.
How about your previous post calling me a liar when talking about our relationship with Bosch Motorsport? Who is the real asshole here?
I did check out your one link that worked. This one: (https://www.boostedforums.net/showth...700-fail/page5).
I actually laughed because if you read through the whole thread you end up with everyone being happy with their new versions, without a single issue to date after the revision. Look at that, we fixed the issue and everyone loves them now. How embarrassing.

I'm not sure of the facts of this, but these people on the forum said the Earth is flat. Must be true!
"I once found the edge of the earth and outerspace. It was a weird time for me. The Mountain I was walking through was latter dusk into night. and the mountain apparently shape shifted around me as I approached the edge. because I never found the place for the terrain to be the same when I returned to the same area. And When I found the edge I stepped in a well. The well was outer space to me."

Let's set it all straight then.....
Did the ID1700 pass the bosch motorsports endurance testing like the ANSU 1500cc did? If not, why not make it right till it passes? I understand as long as you sell it as "for off road use only" it doesn't matter, but if you're telling people you're THE premier injector, why not be THE premier injector?
As stated I'm currently running my ID1000's and happy with them, but when looking to upgrade if someone wanted the best wouldn't they be going with the ANSU 1500cc's? (granted I assume you're an ID wholeseller so I'm not expecting to get an honest opinion. You have a business to run and I respect that, so you push the products that you sell). Let's be real. If someone put an ID 1700 in front of me an ANSU 1500cc and both would "get the job done", but one had passed the test and the others had not, which would you buy hatrick?
