SO FOR THE S2KI reader here are the facts: Currently the ASNU 1500cc injector is the best on the market, but Hatrick has.....I don't know, hinted you could say, that ID has submitted the ID1700 injector to bosch motorsport for testing and is unsure of the results. If the ID1700cc pases I will update my post stating that now both the ID1700 and the ASNU1500 are top dogs. Would you say that is a fair comment hatrick. (granted s2ki readers, I know I am asking an ID employee to be fair in an injector discussion about another companies injectors POSSIBLY being better, but hey the facts are the facts.....the ID 1700 has NOT PASSED THE TEST)

Yep, sent my ID2000's in for inspection and cleaning and they came back with a good bill of health after all e85 use and sitting for a bit in the car without running. Also found out that you can take a 9v battery and energize the injector and spray WD40 into them for storage after ethanol use.

Hatrick, I went back and re-read and you are correct. I first read it as ID being the only one to have access and working with Bosch on injectors. Now that I re-read it, you were actually saying that no one else has access to the ID modified injectors. Ya well sure. No one is making their own coil driver out there but bosch. Everyone is buying the bosch EV14 injector coil and then modifying it with the help of bosch. So I stand corrected.
BUT
The other information I am posting is, as I said, just what I am reading online. Everyone on this forum is big boys and girls and can interpret what I am reading anyway they like. I left links. I see why you chose to not read the GTRlife one. It basically points out how ID failed to pass the testing and released the 1700cc injector anyway. No surprise it failed. But ID as a company did do right by their customers and sent out the new 1700X injectors.
So you work for ID. Makes sense now why you are so defensive. Relax buddy. I have no ill-will to you. You're doing the best you can to sell a product for your employer. I respect that.

I don't think anyone here would be done wrong by buying an IDX injector.

A fuel injector is a fuel injector. All they do is squirt fuel. One isn't any "better" than the other. I read on article on it.
That said, my ID2000's, all 8 of them, are still alive and kicking. They have sure seen a lot of abuse and methanol!!! I think this is starting season #5 with them.

Lol "an injector is an injector" ...However I use ID's ?!?! Lol...
my all motor high comp H22 with DW 410's have already shown there age after only 1 1/2yrs. New owner is complaining about spitting n sputtering. First thing I told him was run injector cleaner and or most probable course of action is pulling n sending or running concentrate through them while pulled.
I can bite just a lil... IF they are brand new, but this is the exact reason why u buy a Taylor instead of a Jasmine acoustic guitar... A chord is a chord or a note is note, no difference at all... The difference is a Taylor will last 2 lifetimes maybe more however another will not. Your not buying the potential of a chord, quite frankly cause that is what it should do anyways. Your buying consistency and reliability.

I think it's more of the ability of whoever's tuner to actually have the knowledge to work with EVERYTHING or cross tune multiple platforms, having true fundamentals and to sometimes not know AND have the pride to say or acknowledge they need or don't know the information to get them to run right. So busheet
However! Lol ID and probably the reason they are so successful, is they push there support and information so well honestly it's probably because they have more people that actually know what they are talking about. It's not BS or guestimation. Directions are only as good as people who made them understand what's actually happening I'll.
Edit: Holy crap! Lol didn't read the rest of this. ID done right by me so far fudge it. Still say everything the same, ARE they the best? ...Am I the fastest? Lol...There will always be sum1 faster.
