What do you guys mean exactly when you say the fuel pump is heat-soaked? Sorry for the noob question, but I am not understanding what the problem is. The Walbro in my STI is noisy but I have driven for days on end and never had a problem with it shutting down or anything.

Also http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/fuel_pump...st_2/index.html alot of info on supra fuel pump as far as part numbers blah blah flow rate. Just a heads up tho my brother droped around 750 into his fuel setup. he didnt make it thats part of the reason, he had a garage make it. Runs great never had a prob he had it on his boost'd s2000 for about a year now.
Good read!
So the supra pump seems like the way to go for me after reading this.

I'm running 1000cc injectors and wanted something a little more than the walbro 255.
With the right supplied voltage i could be able to run 290LPH.

Can't wait for someone to try this out!

Apparently the bearings require fuel for cooling, if you run it below 1/4 tank they can overheat and increase resistance in the pump
