I don't think dual 044s would fit if you lower them through the hole at the same time. If someone made a hanger, I'm guessing it'd have to be a couple of pieces that you'd lower into the tank and then connect them together.

I know a DSM guy who did dual Walbros on a budget and did his DIY fuel pump hanger in 2 pieces/brackets that he put in individually and then screwed together.
Just a single, most will never surpass what (1) 044 will do.

I was thinking about the whole situation again, with the lowered MPG's it would be nice to have another 5 gallons of fuel storage. With this simple system I came up with I think this would be a viable solution.

What about a small surge tank mounted in the engine bay to negate the cost of added line length?

Sidenote: Would an inline 044, 255 in-tank, have enough flow/pressure to feed 1000cc ID's @ 100 static to keep up with demand for 750whp?

The pair in series at 100PSI (At the pump) will flow approximatly 65 GPH, from the chart above.

65GPH = 246LPH = 4,103 cc/min / 4 Injectors = 1,025 cc/min ea

ID1000's flow 1,500 cc/min at that pressure

Maybe Boostedf22c will chime in here. I am almost certain I saw him post about having a custom hanger for a single 044 at one point. I thouht I even saw it for sale.

Maybe wait till January. :-)

At sema, deatschwerks has a 300lph pump that is the size of a walbro and will fit in a factory tank. The guys said it will be ready for release in january.

This will be VERY exciting to the pump world if this goes through.
