Default Fuel system for turbo s2000

Hey everybody, I have a 2004 s2000 and I’m currently trying to install a cxracing turbo kit on. My big concern is the fuel system, I’ve been reading on all these forums of people upgrading the entire system but they want to push 600whp. So far I have ordered the walbro 450 pump and some 550cc fuel injectors. My goal is to only be pushing 300ish to the wheels on low boost. The question I have is do I need to upgrade the entire system or can I get away with just a few necessities. I want to take the time to ask to see what others have done before I start buying more parts

for 300whp all you need is injectors, but if you're planning to increase power later or run a fluffier fuel like E85 the fuel pump will be good. I haven't seen the 450, are the dimensions of the pump the same as OEM?

You're fine with what you got for 300whp. If you're planning on making any more than that you will need larger injectors. If you're buying them new anyway, I would just go ahead and buy at least 1000cc injectors which can support 400-450whp depending on fuel type used. walbro 450 is the way to go for the pump (make sure its authentic, A LOT of fake ones being sold online). Buy from reputable shops.

the walbro 450’s and 585’s are larger than oe. Its wider at the filter end. Most people use a saftey wire to wire tie them to the factory basket assembly
