Default Fueling Issues E85?

So here's a quick run down of what's happening with the car, which is currently at the tuner.

1. ID1000s, 93 pump gas, FB340 pump, rewired, 17.5psi of boost, OEM fuel pressure, AEM fuel rail/regulator
Tuner is saying that the injectors are maxed out (the IDC was reading upwards of 90% if I recall correctly)
2. Buy ID2000s, goes to retune with the same settings
Tuner is saying that the injectors are still running too high for petrol which doesn't make any sense

What's going wrong here?

(Novi 1200, 3.2", not turbo )

what do you mean when you say "the injectors are still running too high for petrol"? Running too high?? You mean the injectors are maxing out? There is no way 2000cc injectors can max out on normal 91/93 octane.

Aye, I know this already. I just can't figure out why they are maxing out on petrol? They shouldn't max out on E85 for that matter either, but my tuner hasn't gotten this far obviously

I'm stumped, I'm sure my tuner is as well

Do you have the E85 sensor or did you just change the injectors?

Yeah there is a flex fuel sensor too, but I can't understand why the injectors were maxed on petrol... there must be a restriction somewhere or something

Well, I think I've found the issue. While taking the fuel pump assembly out I noticed that the ground wire for the fuel pump relay was very loose.

But also, once I got the fuel pump assembly out. The hose clamps connecting the fuel pump were very loose, I was able to pull the fuel pump out of it's holder very easily.

So I've replaced those shitty 'binder clamps' with worm drive style hose clamps.

I'm guessing that the fuel pump would have dropped and touched the bottom of the fuel tank, preventing fuel flow on WOT dyno pulls

Im going for a tune soon with DW300 fuel pump, Novi 1200, ID1000, AP2 (so have to use stock fuel pressure).
Do you think my injectors will run out on E85?
My map sensor tells me i have about 9,5psi peak
(i just rev 8000rpm because im running a e-tune right now, will rev 8500 after tune)

At that level of boost I doubt you'll run out of injectors, if you're running a return less fuel system you might be in trouble
