I thought we were having fun?

I never said anyone was making up numbers. I just agreed with someone that without proof very few will believe. And that is a fact.

Seriously, whether 50Kw claims are true or not people who have been on this board for some time know that talk is cheap (and torque ain't) and that there is no point in claiming large numbers without proof because very few will take it seriously. If you want to make big claims without proof be prepared to be worshipped by the sheep and sniggered at by the jaded.

As for bets, what is the point. At present the fastest 1/4 is set by Elaug. If the bet is "One day we'll beat that" then it's not much of a challenge. ANyway, we've got enough troubles here at present without upsetting the yanks as well.

Amen,

so lets shove a sock in my mouth and show me that 50+ gain from the intake. If it really does show 50+ gains then I am ready as ever to start eating away.

btw, can I get katchup with that sock please?

BTW, both Elaug and H9k have custom inlet plenums because they found substantial gains from them. And I have a second manifold that I will eventually use as the basis of a custom plenum.

What I'm saying is that I have no argument with the fact that the stock intake manifold is a restriction on FI. It's just that if you make a big claim and don't back it up with anything other than "He's a great guy" there are people who won't believe it. And no amount of insulting them will change their mind.

Aus, it wasn't fun for me...I don't waste my time lurking the internet waiting for an opportunity to make statements.

I will eventually post up some of those plots, but like you I am too busy handling other concerns and thats not on the list at this time. The manifold was designed well and did its purpose. Next year it will be swapped outfor a new version. What is interesting is this thread started out as a thread asking about FULL RACE and their kit. Those who have some experience with their work was asked for their input which I did...but I do see your point.

As for the challenge, if you feel the Aussie have the skills to keep the title it then why not accept?

Flexer, any preference is sock style? could it be a sweaty gym sock?

I don't understand why. No one (including Trivium) had a go at you. I said I didn't know you from a bar of soap. I don't know if that is a common expression in the US but it is not insulting. It just means I don't know you and so have nothing to base the credibility of your claims on.

As for the challenge, if you feel the Aussie have the skills to keep the title it then why not accept?
Because it's not my challenge. I personally am not interested in 1/4s, hp or top speed. I have no control over Elaug's project and no interest in it.

Personally I suspect the title will change hands several times and eventually have very little to do with the type of S2000 I own and drive.

I think that I should speak on this topic.

I have been a personal friend of Cody's for a few years now. I am local to him (10 minutes from the Love Fab work shop). I can speak on all of the topics that have been brought up on this thread.

Research and Development:

For some of you people that believe that Full Race Geoff does more research and development then Cody at LoveFab, I would say that you are wrong. Cody is a very dedicated, hard working individual that would not release a kit that he didn't feel was fit for people to use, or that it would not work correctly. As stated in this thread, he has a S2000 that he uses for mocking, jigging, and testing to make sure everything fits correctly. He also has his personal s2000 that he tests all of his new products, and prototype products that he is thinking about releasing. He drives on the kit for a period of time, then releases the product. Cody also has dyno sheets to prove what his kit produces.

Customer Service:

As some of you had said, Cody pretty much gives an arm and a leg for his customers. ALL of his products come with a full life time warrantee against cracking of his manifolds, downpipes and exhausts. He is always at his phone, being as curtious to customers as humanly possible weather they have any intention of actually boosting there cars or not. He answers all questions wether it be on AIM, E-mail, Forum related, or by Telephone. He also is completely truthful about every statement, or answer he provides. Nothing he says is "candy coated". Like someone else said, he gave his personal injectors to a customer, just to satisfy the customer in the correct way. If that isn't dedication to customers, I don't know what is.

Products of LoveFab:

I can say that all of Cody's products are completely top notch with confidence. All of them are hand made to perfection. All of his welds are back purged, and looked over carefully to make sure they are to LoveFab perfection. And I am not saying that human's are not capable of making mistakes, but if there is a mistake Cody's manifolds, etc. are topped with a life time warrantee against cracking. All of the manifolds are tested, and jigged as well. Not to mention that Cody also features the "great looking" turbo kit that you show car people are all about, as well as the function of a great turbo kit. I can easily vouch for all of Cody's products any day.

Cody is such an upstanding man. He is a man of his word, completely truthful, and provides a top notch product for the s2000 as well as other cars, Evo's, Celica's, and soon to be AE86. Cody is also involved with AEM, and built there manifold for there Salt Flat race car, and Steph Papanakis's drift s2000. Proving that a major company has faith in him. I have not seen another Company that "performs" so to speak like LoveFab. LoveFab is nothing short of Top Notch.

- I had to share my 2 cents on LoveFab.

Hey troll, before you make statements that are likely to get you banned, know who you are talking to. Arnold is one OF THE most respected members on this board, so if he says the manifold makes 1001 wheel hp, you believe it.
I dont care who Arnold is. He didnt even make the manifold itself. I have seen many "respected" figures on forums claim something only to find out the truth. Dont forget that Full Race is out there to mae nothing more than $$. So they will say what they want just to do that. They are not here to 'benefit" the s2000 community (just keep in mind I do respect their work and I am keeoing an eye on their products).

BTW, if you think I will get banned for such a comment you need to change your diaper.

I can see where this is heading. Done.

PM me if you have something worthwhile to add to the topic, and I'll consider re-opening.
