Default Gauges

Hey guys, what gauges should I get to accompany my Comptech base supercharger kit? I'm assuming a boost gauge, but what else do you recommend? Also, what's a good pillar pod to use?

Ive never installed gauges before and I'm not upgrading to an EMS right away. I've read that gauges plug right into something like and AEM EMS, but is it very difficult to do (or even possible) without it? Please excuse my ignorance in this. Thanks for any help.

The multi-gauges are called "Serial gauges" but I think you need an aem ems to use one. For what your using, I would definitely get a wideband (o2 sensor to monitor your AFRs) and a boost gauge, or if your car burns oil (a lot of s2ks do) maybe get an oil pressure gauge.

The wideband has an external o2 sensor that will need to be put into the exhaust stream (usually by welding a bung onto something like a test pipe) it gets power from the car, reads your AFRs and spits them out on the gauge, no ems and no calibrating necessary.

Idk exactly how the other gauges work but I know they don't need an ems either

I would suggest the AEM Wideband Failsafe and an SOS single gauge pod (or ebay equivalent). See my review thread here: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/964...e-who-has-one/

Its a wideband and boost gauge in one unit, and it has datalogging capabilities. I'm still loving mine.
