I never got it resolved. Tuner didn't really have any good suggestions. I ended up getting a good deal on a lower mileage motor, and ditched the turbo kit. I did a compression/leak down test on my old motor before i did, and the motor was perfectly fine.

I will keep you updated, I have a feeling the turbo might be worn/not functioning well so i'm going to have it pulled and examined. My motor, like yours, is also in great shape so if the turbo comes back fine and the motor is good too than I can confidently say it was the manifold.

good luck! at least you didn't have reverse vtec like i did! lol when i pulled the kit, my turbo was fine too. I'm pretty sure it's the manifold since i went from 280whp to 230whp.

Its a tiny turbo though regardless and the F motor breaths so much cfm in the upper range, that size turbo is nearly a choke point for this engine there. You get more peak yield out of an old Novi 1000 super charger at 6psi then a greddy turbo. I've seen consistent reports of 260whp stock out of the box with 6psi and 280-300whp at 10-12psi though on a dynojet roller dyno with greddy.
At 10psi i was at 336whp 91 gas but again with different pfab top mount single scroll manifold.

That was awesome +1 on reverse vtec yo!

With the factory greddy manifold pushing 14psi and water meth injection there was one guy that made 350whp and that was the most anyone has ever seen out of this kit on this car that's posted over the years to my knowledge.

A buddy of mine had this kit and eventually had to go with the pfap log due to the cracks issue, and he went to a gt30/76r with it at that point and at the same pressure and water meth made 425-450whp if I recall correctly. So the Pfab as lame as it is, is capable of decent yield for the pressure with the right size turbo it appears.

I made 360whp with the stock greddy kit and stock exhaust with 70mm test pipe. That was the most power i made with the greddy kit which was tuned on e85 fuel and 14psi. My full description and dyno sheet is in the greddy turbo kit thread. Feel free to check it out. After upgrading to a pfab sidewinder manifold setup and now back to stock. I dont regret the greddy kit, love the simplicity of the kit. Its just limited in power, though perfect for those who dont need insane power.

I would definitely like to switch back to the greddy manifold to see if that makes a significant difference in power, but my flapper is welded shut leaving me stuck with the ewg setup of the pfab replacement. I even emailed Pang and he told me that it's not the design of his manifold that may be holding people back form making the same power as the stock manifold.

These engines need to breath! Change that garbage setup for something better flowing. Having to engage vtec that high means the setup flows terrible.
