Going with a 7lb pulley for my Comptech
Installing a wideband will let you monitor your A/F. It won't actually let you do anything about it though.
If you put your car on a dyno you can also see where it is rich and where it is lean. But once agin, there isn't much you can do. The entire adjustment is one screw on the Comptech FPR. If you are running lean at 9000 rpm you can turn up the pressure until it's right, but then you've turned up the pressure for the whole curve and will be running rich everywhere else.
The aftercooler is an interesting addition. The Comptech kit originally came without one. When you install it you effectively reduce the pressure by cooling the charge. Same air, less pressure. But the FPR uses the pressure to up the fuel. So you will be running the same air, but less fuel. Lean! And all you can do about it is turn up the dial.
V-AFC's are a toy. They don't control fuel, they modify the air signal in the hope that the ECU will respond accordingly. As the air signal is already maxed and capped in boost raising it with a VAFC is pointless. YOu can up the fuel pressure then pull some air signal/fuel in othe rplaces but that is a kludge.
I would recommend at least an E-manage. It can directly overdrive the injectors so you can properly add fuel where needed. You might also consider removing the FPR and using bigger injectors but that is a next step.

My stock pulley boosted 5 psi and my new "7 psi" pulley from Tech 2 is now showing 8 psi. I am running stock injectors. But I have to run real high fuel press. to not lean out at high R's.

^ Rich, to run the fuel press high, you turn it clockwise right? How long have you been running with the 7lbs pulley? Can you tell a different between the stock pulley from comptech and the 7lbs?
