Default Going to single cooling fan

Wondering if anyone has gone to just one cooling fan in order to fit air filter for supercharger? (Novi1000) I am running an intercooler with my comptech setup and have no room for an air filter with the stock cooling fan in place. I have a koyo racing radiator and no ac. So I was thinking of upgrading the fan on the drivers side to a more powerful slim fan?

What do you guys think about this type of setup? Anyone else have suggestions on how to fit a filter on the supercharger in an area with less than 3.5" of depth?

Ptuning turbo kit uses a single high performance SPAL fan to make room for piping and I've yet to see anyone have any coolingissues with it.

I'm running a single SPAL fan for my Novi 1200 setup. You just have to make sure it pulls plenty of CFMs, otherwise it'll overheat.

FYI, I'm running the SPAL 12" extreme performance fan PN 30103202. I tried other slim fans but wasn't effective in cooling.

I don't see how you can put anything in front of the radiator, at least if you still have the AC condenser in place.

That looks great. How do you have that wired up? Was it hard to mount to the full blown rad like you have it?

It's wired directly to the battery using a SPAL high current relay. Mounting the fan is no different than any other fan. Get the spal mounting brackets and it's a breeze. One end of the bracket slips onto the fan housing assembly and the other end can be fixed to any of the OEM fan locations.
