I have the same issue but I took the sound damping out of the hood and I don't think its rubbing anymore.

I did this as well and it now started to rub on the inside of my hood, leaving a small mark on the intake pipe.

I'll try pushing the piping down more as some have suggested and see how that works.

you could have the pipe the wrong way (it's not perfectly symmetrical) and/or like trbokev said, loosen the hose clamps and push the piping down to make more clearance, then retighten the clamps.
I loosened both clamps and tried pushing it down further, still didn't work for me? I'll have to see what else may be stopping it from going down further.
