I have heard people got the wrong base map loaded in Emanage. If I get the kit without tuning. Am I able to tell I get the right map by driving?

These mistakes were due to dealers converting ap1 kits to ap2 kits and vice versa. So the kits got all screwed up. All of the kits should be fine now. Only way to tell what map you have is to hook up the software and look at the map.

After looking at the PDF file, looks like draining the oil will be a PITA. Looks like you will have to disconnect the whole oil return line to drain the oil for an oil change. Or am I missing something?

Those of you interested in this thread may also find this earlier (and still ongoing) 25 page greddy install thread interesting.

It's actually easier than it was stock, you just need a flat head screwdriver or an 8mm socket to loosen the hose clamp, pull the hose off of the drain fitting, then let the oil drain.

does the kit come with braided oil lines? i heard on the rx8 kits the hoses and lines were really crappy and would fail and cause lots of trouble. are the lines and hoses supplied with the s2000 kit better?
