does the kit come with braided oil lines? i heard on the rx8 kits the hoses and lines were really crappy and would fail and cause lots of trouble. are the lines and hoses supplied with the s2000 kit better?
Yes, they are braided SS

The oil return line to the drain bolt is not braided.

Do I need any cooling mods like low-temp thermostat, fan switch and Hi-pressure rad cap for this kit if I only drive on the street?

Not yet. Another member PM'ed me and said he was missing the same bolts too. I plan on getting some OEM exhaust manifold nuts to replace the ones I bought from home depot or source some from the internet.

Problem is that swapping these bolts in going to be a pain in the ass since I'll have to dismantle everything in the way of the turbo/manifold just to get to the bolts.

I'm hoping that what I have now will last 4k before I do my next oil change.

Can you list the bolts/parts that were missing? And where to get OEM ones?

Thanks
