Can anyone tell me if i can get into some problems running octane 98 fuel ( that is what we have in europe compared to the lower octane fuels in the states ) with the greddy basemap?

No probs I would imagine - it's more resistant to detonation. You could run some better advance if you mapped for it.

Although I think the US has a different fuel rating system than us, so ours may not be that much different?

for the testpipe w/ basemap question...

it really depends on how well your setup breathes (ie. what size testpipe and exhaust). I know when we tested the car w/ a test pipe and 80mm exhaust system, boost spiked dangerously. You may not get so much spiking if you do a test pipe w/ stock exhaust for example.

So driving around with the greddy kit and stock basemap in combination with ron 98 fuel will be very reliable?

we can choose between ron 95 or 98 here, but my gas-cap says i'm only allowed to use ron 98 in the s2000
