I'm new to s2ki.com, but have been reading posts for quite some time now. I know Mikemjohnson has already touched on this subject, but am wondering what would be best. I also don't have a boost controller right now. Only A/F and boost. I have a greddy turbo kit on my car right now and all I have is a megan test-pipe. I recently bought some N1 turbo mufflers and was trying to decide if I should run 3" back or just leave it at the stock piping. Sorry if someone has already answered this, but I want to make my car perform the best it can.. thanks
You may want to leave it alone or go something smaller than 3". With the TP on the car and a 3" you may get bad boost creep. Search for Greddy boost creep. You could just change out the mufflers on the stock system if you want. I think the best set up for the greddy kit exhaust is a Berk HFC and a Greddy 70MM single or the invidia Dual V3. Seem to be the most flow and HP with out too much creep. I hope this helps

thanks revenge. I was thinking about just welding on the mufflers, but I think that might kind of defeat the purpose of even having the mufflers. Prob would not gain much if not anything. Since I have already spent so much on the kit and still need to tune the thing I don't have the cash to swap out for a whole new exaust. Would a manual boost controller help at all?? I looked at the boost creep pages and people were saying that the internal wastegate is the problem. This is kind of a hard situation with this kit because everyone says that turbo cars work best with open flow , but this kit doesn't want that. I guess my TP is throwing things off too though and unfortunately I don't have it anymore. At WOT right now I stay at around 8psi or so. Any further assistance would be greatly appreciated...thanks

IMO most of the boost creep is due to the tune and a majority can be solved with tuning over the stock greddy tune.

how can you tune out CREEP?, its a mechanical issue, not really a software, type of thing, maybe pull timing at the RPM it starts to creep at?

anyway I have the Invidiia V3, crept out of control with a test pipe but holds steady even in 10F weather with the berk HFC

So basically my problem is, I would like to make my exaust piping (maybe 3" or so) but I am worried about creep. Do you guys think I should try to tune it with the TP or should I just upgrade right now????? So Joey so you recomend a berk HFC, Do you think that would help? How bad was " Out of conrol"???? Is there any other ways you guys have worked around this? And if I did decide to change it then should I put the resonator back in or should I run it straight back?

My creep was bad enough to hit 20PSI . I would do one of two things, get any type of aftermarket exhaust, (for sound mostly), and throw on the Berk HFCm you wont creep, or do what I should of done and leave the exhaust stock and then throw in a Test Pipe, the stock Exhaust is designed very well

WOW. 20 PSI. Thats crazy. I think I am just going to keep the stock exaust on, but I might swap out the mufflers since I already bought them. Hopefully they don't make it sound like krap though. What did you have your A/F set to JOEY? I heard around 12-12.5 is good. I am kinda worried about tuning this thing though since I am in BC. Hopefully I can find someone with some experience with emanage..Thanks for your help JOEY..

Hey everyone. My current set up is just a greddy turbo with a megan test-pipe. I have a AEM air fuel set-up as well. When i started the car today my a\f gauge was readingany where from 14 to 17 at idle and then would settle down and when i reved it kinda fluttering all over the place. When i give it steady throttle it stays at around 14. It is not tuned yet...... Could I make it the drive to the tuner shop if i don't boost or is this too dangerous???
