Greddy Turbo Install

I've read that with proper tuning, 350 rwhp is possible but definitely not with the base map that comes with the kit. The map that comes with the kit can handle 10 psi but the tuning would be off a little bit. Just a little tuning here and there, and voila... 350 rwhp.
But I guess we really won't know until someone actually tries it.

With full supporting mods (single exhaust, etc) I bet its possible however.

I would really love to see it (no sarcasm) but 50rwhp is a LOT of power from just leaning out the car.

I would love to see it too cause that would make me want the kit even more... lol.

where u weld at? im guessing this aint a place the old muffler shop can do?
My blow off valve was welded on by a fabrication shop that was literally next door to the speed shop that installed the turbo. They just happened to be about a mile from my house at the time.
What a great thread, and very well written/informative.
However, in regards to the Greddy kit, I guess I will always have a problem with a "pre-tuned" kit.
Every car is different, and the use of a "one-size-fits-all" tune just doesn't seem like the most efficient or safest method.
I wonder what the kit would put down with proper engine management that was tuned by an experienced individual on a dyno. Perhaps this was already answered (I admit to not having read the entire thread - I'm tired).

A few recommendations if you are using the Greddy setup:
(1) Get a great oil cooler kit
(2) Log your intake temperatures (you'll soon understand why your power is limited) and knock
(3) Consider a better FMIC
(4) Consider adjusting your boost (down) based on your fuel and log parameters
