350 is good enough for me, ESPECIALLY if it gets CARB approved

I drove a friend's CTSC car at an autocross recently. Being used to my stock S2000, the difference was very obvious. I really liked the top end, but in the lower rpms I'd be hard pressed to notice any difference. Driving a car with a flat torque curve and 300hp peak hp would be very nice, IMO. Assuming the reliability is up there, this is an ideal kit, IMO.

but the news on the 06+ kits is heart breaking.
I got an e-mail from Greddy saying it'll be out later this fall.

That's exactly how I think too. This kit makes 180ft/lb at 3,600rpm and holds it to redline fergodsake. That's perfect imo.

A basic CT or PC blower kit doesn't see 180ft/lb until 7,500rpm.

only issues i had were due to a bad boost gauge, i ran one old one from japan that was leaking. causing some minor vac issues, but thats been taken care of. Again I'm not daily driving it like before, however the car feels even better than when i dyno'ed, (fixed vac issues)
My plans are to finally hit the road courses up again with the car in the next few months. Just been busy at work. I'll keep everyone posted.
I'd be interested to hear how the car does out on the road courses with this kit. AND how the reliabilty of the Honda engine holds up un FI track stress...

Don't see why everyones downtalking it. IT HAS A CAT FOR GODS SAKES!!!!! being that turbo car would like 3" -3.5" exhaust after 300whp and up you have to imagine the back pressure the cat would create. Not to mention if its a rich tune on low boost thats acceptable. The best thing he could do is loose the CAT, not to mention this will help out his turbo temps by not creating a pressure zone on the backside as well as help the volumetric efficiency being the turbo isn't lagged when it shouldn't be, making the cylinders have a hard time exhausting gasses.

No direct experience here, but I do know of several FI S2000s that regularly see the track. But they're all SC cars. The engine handles it fine if it's properly set up.

The problem with tracking a turbo is heat. You really need a water-cooled turbo to track it. And some cooling system upgrades.

So if track days are important to you this kit should not be used. It's a street kit, not a race kit.

I do track on a semi-regular basis...So are you suggesting one of the bolt on SC kits are safe for track use???

I'm suggesting that people are doing it. I offer no opinion on the safety of doing so.

You would certainly have to have your tune right.
