Well put my Greddy TIC 70mm on last night (with the silencer out and stock cat still in.)
Exhaust is loud especially at 4K and then letting off the gas. (Loud in comparison to my stock exhaust with silencer taken out which sounded kinda like HKS). I have heard that exhausts will quiet a little after driving them for a week or two though so we will see how things go. If it doesn't the silencer is going back in the tip.

Power seems better though! I am now seeing 7 pounds of boost on my gage instead of the six I was seeing with my stock exhaust. Next step, Berk high flow cat and tune.

Wish the turbo was a little larger so the VTEC pull would be stronger. My only gripe of the kit but IMO its a good trade off for the awesome torque down low as well as its smog legality here in socal.

you guys think it's loud since you went from quieter up to the 70. I went from the 80 down to the 70!!!! sound is perfect now I did drop 1psi in boost though. But it's was an expected and welcomed trade-off for an exhaust that wouldn't blow my ears out.

with BOTH of you guys.

I never said I didn't like the exhaust and there is no way i'm going to take it off. I may however put the resonator back in it. Just letting people know that this isn't going to be just a "little louder" than stock or HKS.
Believe me there are MUCH louder like Buddy club or invidia which both drone horribly.

In all honestly I would recommend the exhaust to anyone and everyone who has the greddy turbo.

all about trade-offs then. If you want to make the power, it's gotta be louder. No way around that. If you want quieter, just have to be happy with the limited power you make.

Agree 100% with this. I was NOT happy with the power so I got the exhaust. I am still not that impressed but its expected without a tune. I KNOW this thing needs additional tuning to get it to where it should be. (Per others dyno charts)

High flow cat and tune and then I will give my full impressions.

I did pull on an AP2 last night and thought he wasnt giving it his full go but looked at the speedo and I was going 90 in a 35.

ya, i'm going to do an exhaust, but I just want something inbetween the HKS 63mm sounds on an NA car, and not as loud as say, and Invidia V3 on an NA car...

What would the Invidia V3 sound like on a boosted car?

This exhaust is definitely more quiet than the invidia dual my buddy had. His exhaust was hella loud and droned horribly! The Greddy 70 isnt at all like that. Zero bee buzz sound.

ya, but I want dual... If greddy had a 70mm dual, i'd do it, but I just hate the look of single exhaust. plus the car came with dual, and I want it to look similar... symmetric
