I am no expert but it's the hole under the flapper that needs to be made larger. I think a little goes a long way you just can't make the WG hole larger than the flapper but since the Knowlege guy has done it it should work fine. This should help with the boost creep problem, however I am unsure how it will affect over all performance.
yes a little does go a long way. when u increase the sizing/flow just a little bit...off hand you can throw out rough numbers of maybe 25% more efficient. that makes a big deal.

Like i said prior to the porting/arm adjustment i was spiking to 12.xxlbs with oem cat. right now with the 70mm hi flow cat i am only boosting 4-6lbs...no more than that.

overall performance is effected at this point. good thing is that im running safe boost levels now.

bad thing is that the spool is pretty slow and im not getting as much boost as i want.

hey first of all id like to thank everyone whos posted here, youve helped me decide to get an 04 or 05 s2000 and put this greddy kit on it. i do have a few questions though (and yes i have read all the threads i could find).

i plan on using a TruBoost and setting low boost at wastegate (so 6-7) and high boost at 10 with hopefully no creeping into the 11s.

1. which clutch exactly do you all recommend, i see ACT but which version?
2. do you all use turbo timers? i know you cant let the turbo sit while its hot without letting oil flow, but in your experience is a timer needed for this kit?
3. which plugs are you all using? NGK BKR8EIX or greddy racing ISO 8
4. what could happen if you accidentally bounce the rev limiter? would the EMS prevent the engine from going pop, or is it like nitrous and you can kiss the motor goodbye?
thanks

A few things

1)I use the Greddy ISO 8's they are pricey,. you dont need then get the NGK
2) I love the Greddy kit, very easy, nice low end, but dont be like me and beat yourself over the head and wish you went Inline Pro.
3) The Greddy Kit is nice because on the street you can beat a lot of cars by a little, I would like to beat a lot of cars by a Lot, I want Tire spinning, hide your child, 20lbs of Boost rear end snapping power

Also I believe with this Kit it cuts fuel at 13PSI, and yeah you can bang of the limiter as much as you want, I wouldnt make a habit of it though.........
