I havent heard this before... however so you know the Berk High Flow Cat takes about a month to get if not longer. I would do it as well as the exhaust ASAP!
The sooner you put the exhaust on the better... you need it to flow as much as possiable to lower your EGT's to make the car safer.
Good luck

!I ordered mine on a Tuesday (a week ago) and requested an extra bung be welded on it for my wideband o2. I received it at my door Thursday the same week!
I cant say enough about Berk, their great service and their awesome quality and products.

second option in my opinion. start at 11.5s and by redline be closer to mid 10's. its just safer at those engine speeds.
I ran my comptech SC at 12.9 in VTEC and had zero problems at 8.5 lbs non aftercooled.
Are you sure? Det hides surprisingly well behind this engines noise at vtec. I didn't even know until a buddy ran next to me a couple of times. The engine is moving so fast it doesn't even sound like hard knock. Just a faint ticking noise.
Does anyone with this kit a BOV have a tower brace? I am upgrading my suspension, and wanted to get an STB just to clean up a hood a little (I know they don't do much)....but think I might have some clearance issues. A photo or STBs you know that are "high" over the throttle body would help out. Thanks guys.
