Will an internally gated GT30 bolt up to the mani or are you changing the mani and going external with the new down pipe?
It will retain the same greddy manifold and as many greddy kit parts as possible, it was a special order turbo gt30. It does not really cost any more but you have to get the correct specs. It is the biggest turbo I found that should fit. I will also be running a new DP, either 2.5 or 3 that will be custom and a better design. There is gonna be some trial and error so I hope it all works out. I am tring to have it made so it can be duplicated. I'll call it the Revenganator greddy upgrade!

Sweet!
I'm already thinking of a bigger turbo also. Car is great fun down low but i'd like another 100 HP in VTEC.

Just got off the phone with the installer, the GT30 turbo fit on to the greddy manifold he said surprisingly well. They are still working on hooking the rest of the stuff up.

It is based on th gt3076 with a larger ar. I will soon start a new tread to provide more detail when it has been completed in the next few weeks. I have seen this turbo get close to 400hp+ with a 3mm HG.

That is true although you hit the point of diminishing returns with increasing the boost. Its been shown that point is around 10-12psi where you will start loosing horsepower.

By all means anyone can try it, I'm not against trying new stuff out (otherwise we would know nothing) I'm just trying pass around known information so people don't try the same mistake over again.

And the old price ($3900) was a fair deal for 300whp, but the new kit price is too high. In fact all the S2000 FI kits are priced too high

My original plan was to buy the kit, sell the T5 turbo and put on a T6. I can make a new DP. Looked like a cheap way to get to 350WHP and be OBDII compliant (screw CARB). So far for just street power I'm happy with the 220TQ down low. I almost never revved past 8K when NA anyways, so the BRP roots SC would also have fit my needs.

So yeah for 400whp, IP would be the easy choice, but can any 400whp kit for a 2.0 or 2.2L be CARB legal? Seems unlikely.

With the help of a local member who just purchased the Greddy turbo kit, I can confirm with you that the T618Z (for the skyline RB26DETT engine) will bolt onto your current Greddy exhaust manifold. You will need to get a custom dump pipe because the exhaust outlet side of my T618Z with 10cm^2 is different to the turbo from your kit. There are 2 types of T618Z for the skyline. I recommend that you get the 10cm^2 exhaust housing instead of the 8cm.

I don't know if Greddy makes a T618Z that has the same exhaust outlet housing as your current one. You should check that with them. At least now we know for sure that there is a T618Z that will bolt straight onto your current manifold
