S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

Has anybody else had problems with Haltech Platinum Pro?

So I have an interesting issue just checking to see if anyone else has experienced it. When I'm just cruising down the highway I will randomly see the revs start to drop then come back to normal. Its like the car stutters and the revs drop for a half a second the. go back to normal, but NOTHING actually seems to happen to the car. I don't feel any hesitation or misfitr of anything, just see the revs drop for half a second then come back up to normal. Anybody seen this before?

Its strange and apparently intermittent because I didn't see it happen on the way back home tonight. The motor remains steady at the same RPM, but the tach on the dash shows the revs drop for a half second then return immediately back to normal.

Under normal highway operation do the radiator fans ever kick on while driving at speed? I kinda figured that since I'm driving like 75 MPH there is enough airflow over the radiator that the fans wouldn't need to kick on. I wonder if the fans kicking on and that initial current draw causes this problem. It was cooler tonight driving home so maybe that's why I didn't experience the issue tonight, because the fans were never kicking on.

Well, Itried my buddys brand new Platinum Pro. Everything is fine so it appears my ECU is jacked.

The only change was loading that new firmware so I would think twice about loading it for now. I will be calling Haltech tomorrow.

Hopefully there was no damage done to my motor...

Cross fingers you don't have any issues. Mine worked fine for a week or so.

I've discovered my issue is definitely voltage related. My tuner put in a brand new battery while it was on the dyno. Even still, I can be sitting in my driveway and go to put my top up/down and as soon as the top starts moving (and voltage is sapped to power the soft top) the RPMs on my cluster drop to zero even though the car is still idling fine. My tuner said that he's never seen an ECU more sensitive to voltage than this Haltech. He also said it may be time to change my alternator. At 133k I guess it doesn't owe me much.
